The Interstellar Commerce Commission is the central organization through which interstellar trade is conducted and monitored. All pilots/crew members and trade vessels are required to have an ICC license. Flying without an ICC license will lead to an immediate arrest and review of background. They are also responsible for enforcing quarantine and interstellar regulations. All major Colonial Marshal offices have a ICC agent attached to them.

They hold a lot of power over various organizations and are rumored to co-operate with Weyland-Yutani in shady business affairs. However, the ICC has plenty of history rivaling the company on its corrupt and unprofessional behaviors.

Employees of the Interstellar Commerce Commission can expect to make a lot of connections with executives in their duties. Assigning and revoking ICC licenses is the primary objective of employees. They review reports and handle issues with various organizations and colonists. The ICC holds the authority to remove individuals of their ICC license making their existence at any colony illegal.
